It is our highest priority to provide a safe and healthy SalonSpa environment for each of our guests and team members. In light of the governor reopening salons, Gadabout will be reopening with following industry practices as of May 12, 2020. If you have an appointment prior to that, we will be contacting you directly to reschedule your services. As we are reopening to take strict social distancing into consideration, we would like to share our enhanced sanitation procedures so that you know what to expect for your upcoming salon/spa experience.
Social Distancing.We are approaching this uniquely at each location, however we are practicing strict social distancing between guests as well as limiting one guest per service provider. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we may need to adjust appointments to accommodate this.
Medical grade of clean We have enhanced our sanitation and cleaning protocols to include hospital grade cleaners. All surfaces and implements will be continuously cleaned and disinfected. Our team has also completed advanced certification on sanitation & disinfection from Barbicide.
Essential practices We’ve re-trained our staff on essential hand hygiene practices.
Capes, towels and linens Are laundered and disinfected before and after each guest.
You are essential to us So we have removed any non-essential items, including magazines & personal items, throughout our business to promote a clean and healthy environment.
We will be wearing masks We’ve acquired appropriate personal protective equipment to be used.
Calm and quiet zone Our wet lounge will be a quiet zone to help prevent the spread of germs

Contactless methods of payment Means less surfaces for you to come in contact with, including being a cashless salon. You can leave a gratuity for your service provider via Venmo or Zelle, and we will not be able to provide cash back on credit cards.
Our guest service team will greet you at the door and assist with our new standards.
Personal space We’ve discontinued the practice of hand shaking, hugging & kissing and other non-essential contact. We will be spreading kindness with our eyes until we can hug again.
Health of our team We will be asking any team member that is ill, fevered or coughing
to refrain from working. If your service provider does go home ill, we wanted to let you know we are a team based company and you are welcome you to try another recommended service provider or reschedule with yours.

The health, wellness and safety of our guests, team members, and community are always first and foremost at Gadabout SalonSpas. While there are still many unknowns surrounding COVID-19, it is now necessary to take additional steps to protect each other. We have made the difficult decision to temporarily close all Gadabout SalonSpa locations as of Saturday, March 21st.
With the goal of re-opening on April 1st, our teams will be proactively reaching out to reschedule appointments during this period. If you would like to reach us by email, we will be rescheduling reservations.
For over 40 years, we have been honored to provide health, wellness and beauty services to the Tucson community and look forward to continuing that tradition for many years beyond. Like the community, the country and each of you, we will emerge stronger.
