Guest Service Team Lead
Job Summary:
- Guest Service Team Leaders are essential to the operations of the guest experience at Gadabout SalonSpas and VerVe Salons. Guest Service Team Leaders are ultimately responsible for the total operations of the front desk, the guest service team, hospitality, home care and the total guest experience.
- Their primary responsibility is to coach, manage and follow through so that the Guest Service team is providing excellent hospitality while fulfilling all systems (home care, save the date, new guests, enthusiastic welcome, gracious goodbye) and operations of the computer system.
- Guest Service Team Leaders direct and coordinate activities of all guest service representatives and hourly staff. Guest Service Team Leaders understand, implement, follow through and coach all opening and closing protocols, proper SalonBiz use, audits and all systems pertaining to the security of our salon, staff and cash responsibilities.
- Guest Service Team Leaders are responsible for growing our home care sales, save the date numbers and salon retention (new guests and existing guests). Guest Service Team Leaders are the inventory liaison to the distribution center and ensure shelves are properly maintained.
- Guest Service Team Leaders are also responsible for hospitality and guest satisfaction as well as guest recovery.
- Guest Service Team Leaders are required to fulfill all the responsibilities of the role, while following the Gadabout and VerVe behaviors as well as dressing for success in dress code. Professionalism goes beyond the dress code to include looking the part of a beauty professional (professional nails - clean or fully painted, makeup, lipstick, etc)
Distribution Center Assistant
Job Summary:
Responsible for packing, delivering, inventorying, receiving and stocking retail and professional products in the Gadabout SalonSpas Distribution Center. Assists in maintaing clean and orderly working environment both in salon, in delivery vehicles as well as in the distribution center.

Housekeeping/Support Staff
Our Housekeeping team is vital to the success of the Gadabout team. They work collectively to ensure an enjoyable and sanitary experience for our guests. Professionalism is extremely important in our housekeeping staff. Maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for our guests is one of the main functions of this role. Sorting, folding, and putting away laundry is a daily responsibility. Keeping the changing rooms stocked, showers clean, and refreshments organized are all tasks performed by our Housekeeping team.
Hair Interns
Hair interns should have received their cosmetology license (1600 hours minimum) from an accredited cosmetology school. Gadabout hires for an internship that includes working within the Gadabout salon locations to help with general salon duties and maintaining the Gadabout experience for each guest. Interns will be working full time, an average of 40 hours per week, in the locations. Once an intern completes the intern program, they can re-apply for a position as a stylist with Gadabout.
Nail Interns
Nail interns should have received their nail technician license (600 hours minimum) from an accredited cosmetology school. During the internship interns will be in one of the salon locations helping with general salon duties and helping maintain the Gadabout experience for each and every guest. Interns work full time in the locations. During the time you are in the location, you are learning the Gadabout protocols for natural nail manicures and pedicures. Interns will be asked to use models/employees to practice services.
Massage Therapists
Massage therapists at Gadabout SalonSpas provide relaxing spa services as well as treatment massages for regular spa guests. We offer many different types of massage services, with ongoing education benefits for CEU classes.
Digital Marketing Assistant
The ideal Digital Marketing Assistant candidate will have an understanding of digital marketing and be able to help us create and maintain our online presence through all venues including video, website, review sites, social media and more. They will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the marketing team, including website design, email design, education manuals, video editing, and other miscellaneous tasks.
Essential Functions

- Working in close connection with marketing team to update and collaborate on both Gadabout and VerVe branded websites. Facilitate brand awareness through all online channels.
- Consistently updating, uploading and monitoring websites with current photographs, pricing, content, products and promotions.
- Maintain Retail Sales goals for onlines sales
- Support future vision for online presnce development through blogs, vlogs, third party shopping websites, seo, etc. Support Brand Representation with online review sites.
- Working closly with marketing team to design, develop and send weekly and automated emails. Monitoring promotional pop ups and understanding seasonal changes.
- Support Marketing team on social media channels including internal Facebook, Instagram pages.
- Provide additional administrative support to the marketing and education team, including attending/scheduling meetings, managing social calendars, responding to emails and updating in salon digital content
- Developing and gathering content to post within the salons for back room TVs, Nail TVs, Wet Lounge TVs, etc. .
- Guest Experience / Operational Support
- Working with operations team to support in salon scheduling of services with online booking.
- Supporting, researching and helping to implement/create text platform for guest communication
- Creating, updating and maintaining locations pages and contact us pages including live chat for guest communitation
- Developing how tos/manuals for all technology devices used within salons including, Salon Biz, Microsoft Teams, Trello, etc.
- Educational Support
- Edit video content for education materials, reels and other internal purposes.
- Meeting with and supporting the education of Instagram Ambassadors in salon to ensure their content meets the standards of the brand and supports our brand identity
- Working with Directors of Education for Editing, uploading and creating content for Online Education platform Thinkiffic - all departments
Proficiencies
- Should be competent and comfortable using Mac Computers, navigating most Adobe programs and eager to learn salon specific software including SalonBiz, Shopify, Privy, After Effects, InShot, Optisigns, Thinkiffic, AI platfroms and technology, Sure Tint and other company directed software for business practices, communication and creating/maintaining trackers
