As a hair (and beauty) model, you’ll participate in real education classes where techniques are taught, practiced, and refined — all under expert supervision.

What Is the Gadabout EDU.?

Our education program supports stylists as they grow through hands-on learning. Before working independently in salon, apprentices train in a structured environment, guided by experienced educators and our directors of education.

Hair models (you) are an essential part of this process.

What to Expect as a Hair Model

Education appointments are intentionally different from traditional salon visits. To support the learning process, please keep the following in mind:

• Appointments typically take 2–3 hours, and sometimes longer
  → Please plan your schedule accordingly.
• You may not fully customize your look
• Services are based on the needs of the education class
• Techniques taught are essential to stylist development
• All services are performed in a supervised learning environment

Education comes first — quality, care, and professionalism are always prioritized.

Photos & Media

Your stylist may ask to take before-and-after photos as part of their education or portfolio development.

• Photos are optional
• You may decline at any time
• Your comfort and consent always come first

There is no requirement to be photographed or recorded.

Who Can Be a Hair Model?

We welcome real people with real hair.

• All hair types, textures, and lengths
• All genders
• Must be 18 or older
• Flexible and open to education-based services

You don’t need “perfect” hair — just a willingness to participate in the learning process.
