How to Master the Undone Curl
1.Detangle: Start by gently detangling your hair with an Olivia Garden brush. Ensure your hair is smooth and free of knots for even curling.
2. Protect: Apply Kérastase heat protectant evenly throughout your hair to shield it from heat damage and keep it looking healthy.
3. Preheat: Turn on your Eagle Fortress 1.25" clamp curler and set it to the desired temperature. Allow it to heat up fully before starting to curl.
4. Section Hair: Divide your hair into manageable sections. For looser waves, work with larger sections.
5. Curl: Take a section of hair and place it between the clamp of the curler. Close the clamp and slowly rotate the curler away from your face, wrapping the hair around the barrel. Leave the ends of your hair out for a more natural, relaxed wave. Hold the curl for 5-10 seconds, then gently release the clamp and let the curl fall. Avoid pulling on the curl to maintain its shape.
6. Repeat: Continue curling each section of hair, alternating the direction of the curl (towards and away from your face) to create a more natural, textured look.
7. Finish: Once all sections are curled, spray Kérastase VIP to set your style and add texture and volume. Then, lightly tousle your hair with your fingers to break up the curls and enhance the wave effect.
8. Polish: Apply a small amount of Kérastase Premier Hair Oil to your ends for added shine and smoothness.
